abstract
A slow frequency-hopping (FH) spread-spectrum (SS) system with trellis-coded interleaved continuous phase modulation (CPM) is proposed, where the phase is continuous during each hop interval. The proposed system provides power- and bandwidth-efficient anti-jam capability in the presence of partial-band noise jamming. The proposed receivers use coherent or non-coherent iterative demodulation and decoding along with jammer state information. Furthermore, an iterative jamming state estimation technique is proposed to provide robust anti-jam performance.
