Shcherbakova, Anastasia Assistant Professor


Professor Shcherbakova is an applied economist with expertise in economics, regulation, and policy of energy and natural resource markets. Her current research focuses on how energy and resource firms interact with political agents and regulators; how firms' non-market strategies affect social welfare; how voluntary disclosure of strategic information affects competition; and what impact technological changes in natural gas and electricity markets have on measures of risk and volatility. Professor Shcherbakova's research on electricity, renewables, and oil and gas markets has been published in a number of peer-reviewed energy, environmental, and economic journals.
