The desire of this large research university to initiate inquiry-guided learning experiences more intentionally and earlier in the curriculum led to the engagement of faculty and students in the implementation of a systematic process for accomplishing this goal. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc., A Wiley Company.
