abstract
(Acrylic acid) iron tetracarbonyl has been found to react with PCl3 to give the complex (CH2CHCOCl)Fe(CO)4 which undergoes further reaction with amines to give the amide derivatives. In addition, (acrylic acid) iron tetracarbonyl is found to form 1 1 complexes, (CH2CHCOOH)Fe(CO)4L, in hexane solution with a variety of phosphine ligands (L). 1973.
