ENERGY SURFACE AND DYNAMICS OF SI(100) Conference Paper

abstract

• Our earlier first-principles-based simulations indicated that Si(100) exhibits unusual dynamical behavior. Here we report a calculation of the total energy surface that helps one to understand this behavior, and additional simulations that show some new features.
