Concentration of mass on isotropic convex bodies Academic Article uri icon

  • We establish sharp concentration of mass for isotropic convex bodies: there exists an absolute constant c > 0 such that if K is an isotropic convex body in ℝn, then Prob ({x ∈ K: ∥x∥2 ≥ c√n LKt}) ≤ exp(-√nt) for every t ≥ 1, where LK denotes the isotropic constant. © 2005 Académie des sciences.
