Indium as an electrophilic center in polyfunctional Lewis acids Academic Article

abstract

• The reaction of indium(1) bromide with orthophenylenemercury and 1,2-bis(bromomercurio)benzene leads to the isolation of the poly functional Lewis acid-Lewis base adducts (o-C6H4(InBr(THF)2)2 (2) and Hg-(o-C6H4(InBr2(THF)))2 (3), respectively.
