abstract
The coupling of antisymmetric tensor fields A to gravity is one-loop finite while coupling A to gravity and gravity to A and to a scalar is nonrenormalizable. The counterterms are on-shell zero and equal to those for the coupling of gravity to , respectively, as one might expect from the classical result that A vanishes and A is equivalent to on shell. 1980 The American Physical Society.
