abstract
We report results on the particle spectrum of the d = 11 supergravity compactified on AdS S7. Our method is to use Salam-Strathdee type harmonic expansions on S4 S7 and to calculate the propagator. We then examine the poles in the propagator and exploit a close relationship between the SO(5) Casimir labels and those of SO(3, 2), to interpret the physical states in terms of Fronsdal's positive energy representations. The resulting spectrum is arranged into supermultiplets labelled by an integer i = 0, 1, 2,..., . The massless supermultiplet corresponds to l = 0. 1984.
