abstract

  • Utilizing Killing spinors on spheres we show that N = 1, D = 10 supergravity admits compactifications to d = 2 and 3, which are: AdS3 S7, AdS3 S1 S6, AdS3 S1 S3 S3, AdS2 S8, AdS2 SU(3). In all these solutions the Yang-Mills field configuration is non-vanishing, and supersymmetry is broken. 1985.
