abstract
The preparation of two new crystalline zirconium phosphates, Zr(HPO4)2 and Zr(HPO4)2 2H2O, is reported. The compounds are characterized and formulated on the basis of their X-ray diffraction powder patterns, chemical analysis, thermal dehydration behaviour, and ion-exchange properties. Model structures for the new compounds are proposed on the basis of the previously known structure of Zr(HPO4)2H20. 1968.
