abstract
This research reports the results of two studies designed to develop and assess the psychometric properties of the Workplace Aggression Tolerance Questionnaire (WATQJ. The WATQ items assess perceptions of the tolerance of workplace aggression, the perceived appropriateness of the use of aggressive behaviors in organizations. The WATQ is offered as a means of assessing and possibly tracking a wide array of workplace aggression behaviors, including physical and verbal, active and passive, and direct and indirect forms. The first study examines the basic psychometric properties of the instrument. The second study provides evidence for its convergent and discriminant validity. 2004, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
