  • 2019 OSA. We demonstrate an integrated heterogeneous quantum-dot laser transmitter directly modulated by a CMOS driver. Utilizing a developed co-simulation laser model enables the design of an asymmetric 2-tap equalizer to achieve a record 12 Gb/s operation.
