Diversification of organisms across ecological gradients and supporting quantitative methodology
- View All
Our ability to understand natural biological systems is limited by the simplicity of our models and experiments in this realm. To be effective, conservation and management practices needs to be informed by ecological experiments that incorporate multiple traits and both molecular and trait (quantitative) genetics of organisms and multiple ecological domains. This project examines complex functional relationships between organisms and their environments. The purpose of this project is to identify important ecological mechanisms that create and maintain biodiversity and sustain organismpopulations.
