© 1985, Society of Petroleum Engineers. This paper describes an analytical dualporosity reservoir model which includes transient flow in the matrix and in the fractures. The model uses an automatic scheme to history match Devonian Shale production data efficiently. A good match provides a reasonably unique estimate of permeability-thickness product and an accurate performance prediction.
