• Expert Systems can be built to provide a wide range of solutions in various applications. The HVAC industry is beginning to accept expert systems as viable approaches to several categories of problems Diagnostics are a natural area for expert systems to play a major role. This article discusses the functionality of an expert system that is designed to perform equipment diagnostics. An application example is included.
