abstract

• This study found a significant statistical relationship between counselor family-of-origin structure and client pre- to post-test symptom reduction. No relationship was found between the counselor trainee's family-of-origin structure and client's satisfaction with his or her counselor's in-session counseling behavior at the end of treatment. 2003, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
