• 2017 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved. In this chapter, modeling of a methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) sweetening unit is demonstrated in ProMax (BR&E, 2017). The use of Saturator and Makeup/Blowdown Blocks is introduced and described, as well as the appropriate column specifications for an amine absorber and stripper.
