abstract

• We construct bases for the stable branching algebras for the symmetric pairs (GL 2n , Sp 2n ), (Sp 2(n+m) , Sp 2n Sp 2m ) and (O 2n , GL n ). Each basis element is expressed as a sum of products of pfaffians. Foundation Compositio Mathematica 2006.
