abstract

  • The nature of the chemisorbed state of molecular oxygen on Ag(110) was studied by ultraviolet photoemission. The results show that the molecular orbital structure of O2(gas) is strongly altered in contrast to O2 adsorbed on aluminum. These results are consistent with previous studies utilizing vibrational spectroscopy. © 1983.
