abstract
The critical line of an Ising antiferromagnet (AF) with short-range exchange interactions has been discussed fairly recently by Wang and Kim. Their results may prove appropriate to some insulating AFs. Here, because of possible relevance to metallic AFs such as FeNiCr alloys, we study the Ising model in the opposite limit in which the exchange interactions become infinite range. In particular, we present numerical results for the sublattice magnetizations mA and mB as a function of the temperature and applied field. Then, using the so-called smoothness postulate, the critical line of an AF with infinite-range interactions is obtained. 2006.
