Second- and third-harmonic parametric scattering in disordered quadratic media uri icon

abstract

  • We study frequency conversion via interaction of two fundamental beams in quadratic nonlinear media with random distribution of the ferroelectric domains. We demonstrate broadband second-and third-harmonic generation, analyse both spatial and polarization properties of the emitted harmonics and show that they closely follow the theoretical predictions. 2010 IOP Publishing Ltd.
