abstract

  • Nonlinear optical wave mixing in photorefractive materials is considered in the framework of a two-dimensional model. Beam profile deformation is discussed in the case of two-beam coupling amplification and four-wave mixing phase conjugation. Some aspects of nonuniform energy transfer among beams are demonstrated in an experiment with barium titanate crystal. 1992.
