Optical spatial solitons in nonlocal nonlinear medium Conference Paper

abstract

• We study one-dimensional bright and dark solitons in nonlocal Kerr media. We find analytical solutions in case of weak nonlocality and show that these solitons are stable in propagation, but their collisions are in general inelastic.
