An Improved MRI Method for Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced Imaging of Tumors Conference Paper uri icon

abstract

  • Acquiring high-resolution dynamic images is desirable but often technically challenging in contrast-enhanced tumor imaging due to the limited data acquisition speed. This paper presents an improved Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) method for dynamic contrast-enhanced imaging of tumors, which involves a new data acquisition scheme and a reconstruction algorithm using a generalized-series model. Simulation results using phantom and real tumor MRI imaging data show that the method can provide significant improvements in spatiotemporal resolution over previous methods such as Keyhole.
