abstract
The Beck method is extended to two-mode correlated states by interposing a linear device that introduces a variable relative phase between the two modes. The resulting method retains the advantage of BHD in the sense that the LO fluctuations do not affect the measurement. Nonetheless, the success of the method relies on the shape of the mode functions.
