abstract
The process of how one can make use of a coherent field to create large magnetic-field-reversal asymmetry (MFRA) in the propagation of an unpolarized light beam was shown. It was shown how electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) can be used very successfully to produce large MFRA. In addition, the effect of Doppler broadening was analyzed and found the interesting region of parameters with large asymmetry.
