abstract
A discussion on lithography and nonclassical two-photon interferometry with high-gain parametric amplifiers was presented. The output state of a parametric amplifier as a function of the single-pass gain was analyzed. It was noticed that certain signatures of quantum light disappeared in the high-gain limit. Others, such as the existence of two-photon interference fringes, remained. It was found that the intense light field generated by a high-gain parametric amplifier could be utilized in quantum optics.
