abstract

  • We show how the slow light propagation through a four-level N -type system can be significantly influenced by the application of the Kerr field under the condition of electromagnetically induced transparency. The change due to the Kerr field under fairly general conditions can be about 10-15%. 2007 The American Physical Society.
