abstract
The decay rate of a dipole in the presence of a phase conjugate mirror is shown to be independent of the distance of the dipole from the mirror and equal to (1-) times the decay rate in the absence of a mirror. Since reflection amplitude could be equal to unity, the theoretical possibility exists that a dipole in front of a phase conjugate mirror does not radiate. 1982.
