abstract

  • In the study, the utility of the coherence between the two lower levels of the - system in controlling quantum fluctuation has been demonstrated. In the first application considered are the production of twin beams. And in the second application, considered is how the coherence between two ground states can be used to transfer energy from the pump field to the signal field without addition of quantum noise.
