Nonclassical characteristics of the marginals for the radiation field Academic Article

abstract

• The quantum characteristics of the marginals associated with the nonclassical states of the radiation field are derived and examples given. The origin of the singularity of the marginal in such cases is traced. Even for a Fock state the marginal has nonclassical properties though such a state has no phase squeezing. 1993.
