abstract

  • A theory of squeezing in the field, produced by the propagation of an intense coherent beam through a two photon absorber, is developed. Effects of both dispersive and absorptive parts of the third order susceptibility are included. Explicit analytic results for the squeezing parameter and the Wigner distribution function of the field are presented. 1987.
