abstract
The theory of the resonant hyper-Raman scattering is developed by fully taking into account the saturation effects. It is shown that the single line, corresponding to stimulated hyper-Raman scattering in weak fields, splits into three lines. The analytic expressions for the positions, widths and the weights of the various lines are given. A brief discussion of the absorption spectra in the related problem of optical triple resonance is also presented. 1979.
