abstract

• The possibility of storage and retrieval of moderately intense probe pulses in a system with relevant atomic transition in a configuration was investigated. As such, the full set of the density-matrix equations and the Maxwell equations was numerically integrated for both control and probe fields. The numerical results show that the storage and retrieval of probe pulses with moderate powers were possible.
