Slow light in doppler-broadened two-level systems Academic Article

abstract

• Lamb dip and saturated absorption spectroscopy was employed to produce slow light with group indices of the order of 103 in a Doppler broadened medium, which otherwise has very flat dispersion. Implications of this result were detailed.
