abstract
This paper discusses the design and implementation of a series of system-wide simulation upgrades made to the Vehicle Systems and Control Laboratory in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. The simulation system consists of a PC-based distributed simulation network comprised of a fixed-base full cockpit simulator and three additional pilot-based simulation stations. Modifications are made to the overall software architecture and the underlying software subsystems to increase the adaptability and flexibility of the simulation facility in an engineering environment. 2008 by Jimmy May, James Doebbler, and John Valasek.
