abstract
2014 IEEE. This paper considers the problem of using discrete-time output-feedback to synchronize the slave chaotic system with the master chaotic system. The problem is of practical importance since in practice not all the states are measurable and the measurement is transmitted as a sampled signal. In this paper, sampled-data output-feedback is used to control the slave system and a sampling period is carefully determined such that the slave system states will asymptotically converge to the master system states. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is also illustrated by the simulation for a chaotic Chua oscillator.
