abstract
The reports of 58 patients who had water delay echography and sulphur colloid scintigraphy of the liver from JulyDecember, 1980, were evaluated and correlated. Scanning with ultrasound was shown to have greater sensitivity and specificity than that of sulphur colloid scintiscanning. When sonographic and scintigraphic findings were concordant diagnostic reliability was 97%. Copyright 1982, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
