abstract

  • The mechanical properties of coated systems were studied using the continuous stiffness technique. The effect of the small superposed applied current signal on the load-displacement response of the samples was examined. The resultant indentation appearances and deformation structures of the samples were characterized using transmission electron microscopy and high resolution scanning electron microscopy.
