• A dynamical theory of an Ising ferromagnet coupled to a thermal reservoir is presented. Beginning with microscopic, reversible Hamiltonian dynamics, we proceed to an irreversible equation of motion for the magnetization probability density P(m, t), in analogy with the laser analysis. 1971.
