abstract
In quantum-beat and Hanle-effect experiments, spontaneous-emission events from two coherently excited states are strongly correlated. A doubly resonant laser cavity driven by such atomic configurations can have vanishing diffusion coefficient for the relative phase angle. 1985 The American Physical Society.
