abstract

• Ultrafast coherent anti-Stokes Raman (CARS) emission from multiple, simultaneously-excited Raman lines in DPA was observed. Implications for the use of this technique towards sensitive, specific detection of molecules and bacterial spores will be discussed. 2003 Optical Society of America.
