abstract
Three-level atomic systems with a -configuration of energy levels plays an important role in modern laser and atomic physics. This model is a basis for a description of a large number of resonance nonlinear phenomena. In most experiments, -resonances are observed in a gas with Doppler broadening, while the majority of the theoretical work deals with the case of homogeneous broadening.
