2015 IOP Publishing Ltd. We construct self-decelerating Airy-Bessel linear light bullet solutions of the three-dimensional potential-free Schrdinger equation, and present their spatiotemporal profiles. In the analysis, three different possibilities for the topological charge (TC) are considered: (i) TC is zero, (ii) TC is integer, and (iii) TC is half-integer. In addition, the behavior of self-decelerating Airy-Bessel light bullets, as affected by the modulation depth and decay parameters, is also discussed. We find that the self-decelerating light bullets may appear in the form of disk-shaped fundamental rings, vortex rings, azimuthally-modulated rings, and the symmetric and asymmetric necklace structures. Our results not only deepen the understanding of self-decelerating beams, but also widen their potential applications.
