Optical Solitons in Cascaded System by Extended Trial Function Method Academic Article

This paper applies extended trial function method to extract bright and singular optical solitons to cascaded system that is a special case in birefringent fibers, where self-phase modulation of the first component is neglected. There are constraint conditions that guarantee the existence of such solitons.
