abstract

• 2018 Elsevier GmbH This paper secures bright, dark and singualr soliton solutions in birefringent fibers. Both Kerr law and parabolic law nonlinearity are studied. The trial equation method successfully retrieves these solitons with constraint relations that assure their existence.
