On s-Independence in ``A New Method to Determine the Failure Frequency of A Complex System'' Academic Article

abstract

• In an earlier paper an exact formula using cut-set manipulation is developed for the frequency of system failure. One of the assumptions made is that the system is composed of s-independent components. The implications of this assumption are examined in this note.
