abstract
Psilorhynchus balitora is redescribed and a neotype is designated. Psilorhynchus nepalensis, new species, from the tributary rivers of the Kali Gandaki, central Nepal is most similar to P. balitora in general appearance and is distinguished by the absence of scales from its midventral region between pectoral fins. Psilorhynchus rahmani, new species, from Bangladesh (Chittagong division) differs from its congeners by a unique colour pattern. 2008 by Verlag Dr. Friedrich Pfeil, Mnchen, Germany.
