This paper discusses the 3 common clinical types of vascular lesions in the cavernous sinus: carotic cavernous fistula, intra-cavernous aneurysm, and cavernous sinus thrombosis. The anatomy, pathophysiology and management of these conditions is described with reference to case histories.
